Prof. Iskandar, was born in Metro, Lampung on May 28, 1961. Prof. Iskandar took and completed his undergraduate education at the Department of Agronomy, IPB, graduating in 1983, his Masters at PS PWD IPB, graduating in 1990, and his Doctorate at the Lab. Of Crop Science, Kyoto University, graduating in 2003. In addition to being a lecturer at the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University, several positions that Prof. Iskandar has held are:

  1. 1985 – present as a Lecturer at the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University
  2. 2009–2017 as Secretary of P4W, IPB University
  3. 2019–2023 Head of P4W, IPB University
  4. 2023–2024 Acting Head of P4W, IPB University.
