Final Draft of the Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) for the Anambas Islands Regency for 2025-2045

The RPJPD is an elaboration of the vision, mission, policy direction, and main objectives of long-term regional development for 20 (twenty) years, which is prepared in accordance with the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) and the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW). The 2005-2025 RPJPD for the Anambas Islands Regency, which was stipulated through Anambas Islands Regency Regulation No. 4 of 2013, expired in 2025, so it is necessary to prepare an RPJPD document for 2025-2045 for the next 20 (twenty) years of development planning. The 2025-2045 RPJPD is directed as an effort to support the achievement of national development goals in realizing equitable regional community welfare by placing humans as the object and subject of development.

The relationship between the RPJPD and National Documents

The objectives of preparing the Anambas Islands Regency RPJPD for 2025-2045 are: 1) As part of regional development planning to realize regional development in order to increase and equalize community income, employment opportunities, business opportunities, improve access to and quality of public services, and regional competitiveness; 2) Guidelines for preparing the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan; 3) To realize rational, proportional, effective, and efficient governance in implementing development in accordance with the long-term vision and mission; 4) Ensuring the integration, synchronization, and synergy of regional development planning between the Anambas Islands Regency government, the Riau Islands Provincial government, and the central government; and 5) Efforts to support the achievement of the 2025-2045 national development goals, namely the 2045 Golden Indonesia vision: A Sovereign, Advanced, and Sustainable Archipelagic State based on the conditions and potential of the region.

The preparation of the 2025-2045 RPJPD began with the drafting of the initial plan, public consultation, consultation with the Governor, drafting, implementation of the development planning consultation forum (musrenbang), final drafting, review by the Government Internal Supervisory Agency (APIP), and finally the enactment of the RPJPD Regional Regulation. These stages and timelines, as outlined in the Minister of Home Affairs Instruction No. 1 of 2024, have been followed to ensure the quality and compliance of the 2025-2045 Anambas Islands RPJPD.

The 2025-2045 RPJPD for the Anambas Islands Regency, which contains the vision, mission, policy directions, and main objectives of the region, serves as a guideline for all stakeholders in the development of the Anambas Islands Regency over the next 20 years. This RPJPD also serves as a reference and guideline for regional head candidates in formulating their vision, mission, and priority programs.

The vision of “a comfortable, advanced, and sustainable Anambas Archipelago based on the blue economy” has been translated into five missions, 16 key objectives, and 33 key development indicators. Success in realizing this vision requires the commitment of strong regional leaders, supported by the active participation of all stakeholders in development and clean, effective, innovative, friendly, and responsive governance.
