Empowering Community Partnerships in Cipeuteuy Village: WebGIS-Based Precision Agricultural Data Collection to Optimize Potential Markets
The Community Service Program of the Directorate of Research and Community Service has been implemented with the scope of Community Empowerment Partnership (PKM) in Cipeuteuy Village with the title “Precision Agricultural Commodity Data Collection to Support Potential Market Optimization with a Webgis-Based Participatory Approach”.
This activity was led by Dr. Setyardi Pratika Mulya, S.P., M.Si, together with a team of lecturers, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Baba Barus, M.Sc and Dr. Wahyu Iskandar, as well as two students. This activity received support from the Cipeuteuy Village Government and the Sinar Sejahtera Farmer Group as its target partners.
The first agenda was to socialize the program to the target partners and village officials, followed by a drone flight to obtain an initial overview of agricultural land, especially in the Pasir Badak Village, Pandan Arum Hamlet. This data will later become one of the bases for planning and optimizing the village’s agricultural potential data.
This collaboration was further strengthened by the involvement of KKN students from IPB University, Nusa Putra University, and Lingga Buana University, who supported the field activities and data collection.
Through this activity, it is hoped that a more accurate, participatory, and sustainable agricultural data system will be established, thereby assisting the village in making strategic decisions for the welfare of the community.
